aBOUT JOHN
John M. Gannaio is a man forged in the trenches of combat, tested in the crucible of leadership, and refined by a passion for God’s truth. A combat veteran with over 13 years of combined service in the United States Army and Air Force, John has spent more than four and a half years deployed overseas, serving both in uniform and as a private security contractor in high-threat environments.
His commitment to service extended into law enforcement, where he served with distinction as a police officer, SWAT team member, Honor Guard member, and certified police diver/instructor. After retiring from the police force, he continued to invest in the next generation of warriors, serving as a contracted instructor and subject matter expert in combat tactics for deploying military personnel.
After years of exposure to combat zones and the relentless trauma of civilian policing, John faced his greatest internal battle—Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). But rather than allow it to define him, he leaned into his faith, embraced the healing power of God’s presence, rediscovered purpose through meaningful work, and committed himself to the discipline of physical fitness as a means of rebuilding both body and soul. From the ashes of brokenness, John rebuilt a stronger, more focused version of himself—the 2.0 version—committed to helping others do the same.
Outside of duty, John is a licensed skydiver, certified scuba instructor, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and Life Coach. He graduated summa cum laude from Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, blending academic excellence with spiritual depth..
